  1. Porch Performance - Songs & Stories of the Old West

    Dressed in period style clothing, Matthew Dodd takes listeners back in time to feel what it was like to live in the Old West. Through songs and anecdotes (humorous and poignant) Matthew evokes the feelings and passions of that pivotal era of American history.  Matthew sings and plays acoustic guitar, harmonica, banjo and mandolin. You’ll find yourself clapping your hands and tapping your toes with his engaging performance on the porch of the mansion. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, and masks to enjoy this performance on our South lawn.

  1. PUBLIC NOTICE - Draft 2020–2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020 Annual Action Plan

    The Draft 2020–2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020 Annual Action Plan is available during July 10, 2020 through August 10, 2020 for citizens, public agencies, and other interested parties to examine its contents and to submit comments. Citizens may submit their comments through the mail, telephone or via email until August 10, 2020. A virtual Public Hearing on this Plan will be held on Tuesday July 28, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Instructions on how to access the meeting will be posted on the County website at www.montcopa.org. Interested parties may attend the hearing and present their comments on the Draft Plan. If you have a special need and require an accommodation in order to participate, please contact Terry McMullen, at 610-278-3540 or (TDD: 610-631-1211). Advance notice of 5 days is required for sign-language or non-English speaking interpreter services, at no cost to the requester.

    Join us as we investigate aquatic life in the waters of Perkiomen Creek. Using nets, pans and magnifiers, we’ll examine the highly adapted insects, crayfish, and more. Wear shorts and old sneakers (no open-toed shoes, please!) as we will be getting wet. All animals will be released unharmed. Pre-registration required. Program meets at fly-fishing area (1023 Church Rd, East Greenville, 18041). All ages; free.

  2. 2020 Summer Concert Series: Agent Moosehead

    Join us for an evening of music in the park. Formed in 2004 by brothers Chris & Pete Dippolito with drummer John McNally, Agent Moosehead has over the years hosted a fluid lineup of Philadelphia's most inventive musicians. At their smallest, the group consists of guitar, bass, and drums. At their largest, they can have more than eight pieces or more onstage. Agent Moosehead's music at times fuses Indie Jazz atmospheres with angular prog rhythms and vintage video game soundtracks. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. All ages; free.
