  1. Tree Explorer for Kids

    April 17, 2021, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Pennypacker Mills

    Explore several trees on the Pennypacker property in this engaging Tree Explore for Kids. Kids ages 5-10 years old may participate. Learn how trees grow, identify them, fill out a fun tree identification sheet, and do a tree rubbing too…all outdoors! Families may choose the 10:00-11:00 am or 1:00-2:00 pm program to attend. Each registration will be for 1-2 kids with 1 adult to assist them. This workshop is limited to just five families per workshop. The fee is $5/child. Please wear masks and social distance.   1. PUBLIC HEARING – Substantial Amendments to 2019 Annual Action Plan

    This notice is to present substantial amendments to the County of Montgomery’s FY 2019 Annual Action Plan for the reallocation of $88,668 in Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG-CV1) funds, and $360,843 in Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG-CV2) funds awarded through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), Public Law 116-136. Total ESG-CV funding to be reallocated - $449,511. The County has placed the Amendment on public display beginning 4/19/21 at www.montcopa.org/housing. Click on Reports. Citizens may submit their comments through the mail, telephone, or via email. Comments will be received until 4/28/21. A virtual public hearing on the Substantial Grant Amendment will be on 4/28/21 at 5:00 p.m. Email Kori Springer at kspringe@montcopa.org for WebEx instructions on how to join the meeting. Advance notice of 5 days is required for sign-language or non-English speaking interpreter services, at no cost to the requester.

  1. Household Hazardous Waste Collection

    The Montgomery County Household Hazardous Waste Collection is free for residents to drop off household chemicals for proper disposal. Businesses and contractors will be turned away. Preregistration is required prior to attending an event. Click on the link to register for the preferred date and time.
