Application for Special Use of County Properties (not Parks, Trails or Historic Sites)

  1. Important Information

    Montgomery County welcomes public use of select properties and grants equal access to all who want to use them. Individuals and/or organizations must apply for a Special Use permit or other appropriate permit to utilize any County-owned/leased property including a park, trail or historic site. 

    Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis and are required 30 days before the date of the event. Prior to use, please read all policies and conditions in full [LINK TO .PDF on web

    Fill out the application for the desired property below. Once the application is approved, applicants will be notified via email within 10 days of the approval status and if any other action is required (i.e. licenses, municipal permits, etc.).  Applications are accepted and processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications must be received a minimum of thirty (30) days in advance of the activity. Applicants will be notified within (10) days of their approval status.

    All County sites covered by this application are ADA accessible. All events held on the County sites covered by this application are open to the public. Street parking is available for these sites and is subject to municipal parking regulations.

  5. Agreement to Terms and Conditions

    This agreement between the below named individual herein after called the permittee and Montgomery County Public Property Division is as follows:  Whereas the permittee does hereby remise, release and forever discharge Montgomery County, its servants, agents, successors and assigns from any and all liability of any nature and/or any and all actions and cause of action, suit, debts, dues, accounts, bonds, covenants, contracts, agreements, judgements, claims and demands of whatsoever nature in law of inequity arising from or due to the use of a Montgomery County property. The permittee also agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Public Property Division, the County of Montgomery, its agents, employees, servants, successors and assigns from any and all claims and losses accruing or resulting to any person, firms or corporations in connection with the usage of the above listed premises. I HAVE READ AND WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT THE PROCEDURES, RULES AND REGULATIONS WILL BE FOLLOWED.
