[ARCHIVED] 2018 Cycle for Montco 2040 Implementation Grant Program Is Open!

The grant program is intended to assist municipalities in making targeted physical improvements that achieve real progress toward the goals of the Montco 2040: A Shared Vision, Montgomery County's comprehensive plan. In 2018 there will be an increased funding allotment of $1.5 million available on a competitive grant basis for municipalities and their partners to make real progress on the goals of the comprehensive plan affecting their local communities. A new focus category, Adaptation and Resiliency, is being introduced to address negative environmental changes through projects such as floodplain mitigation, streambank restoration, green streets, and community gardens. Other focus categories are Walk Montco and Bike Montco – Trails, Paths, Sidewalk Connections, and Bike Facilities and Support of Downtowns and Community Destinations. Applications are due by March 1.
