Peter Wentz Farmstead's Candlelight Tours

Friday, December 3, 2021

HOUSE TOURS ARE NOW SOLD OUT Join the historic Peter Wentz Farmstead for the return of our annual Candlelight Tours! This year we will be offering tours of the first floor of the historic house by pre-registration only, allowing visitors to experience a winter’s night on a colonial farm. In addition to the house tour, we’ll have several outdoor activities that can be enjoyed even without a ticket for the house tour. Visitors can watch a campfire cooking demonstration, chat with Revolutionary War soldiers from the 6th Pennsylvania Regiment, and listen to Stories from the Eastern Woodland Nations told by Lenape historian Darius Puff. As we prepare for the holiday season, you may run into our Belsnickel looking for misbehaved children while the Colonial Revelers entertain guests with 18th century Christmas carols.

HOUSE TOURS ARE SOLD OUT

Join the historic Peter Wentz Farmstead for the return of our annual Candlelight Tours!  Tours of the historic house are SOLD OUT, but we’ll still have several outdoor activities that can be enjoyed even without a ticket for the house tour.

There is no cost for this event.  However, visitors must pre-register for timed tickets in order to enter the house.  If you missed your chance to secure a ticket for the house tour, you can still register at the Eventbrite link below to join our waitlist. In accordance with County policy, all visitors, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask while inside any buildings on the property.  Wearing a mask outdoors is not required, but strongly recommended.  These rules are subject to change in relation to any policy changes made by Montgomery County.  See County COVID guidelines for updates.
