Say what you will about Pennsylvania’s liquor laws, but it seems like Montgomery County is a “hopping” destination for beer these days. With several recently opened breweries including Tired Hands Brewing Company in Ardmore, Forest and Main Brewing Co. in Ambler, Appalachian Brewing Company in Collegeville, and Prism Brewing Company right outside of North Wales, as well the recently opened Sly Fox brewing facility (and its tasting room) in Pottstown, county residents don’t have to wander far for a locally brewed drink.
Here are some openings on the horizon:
All of these new breweries and tasting rooms provide new opportunities for county residents to enjoy the numerous downtowns and Main Streets here, while drawing new visitors as well. This seems like a fabulous opportunity to take advantage of the county’s other cultural offerings.
