On March 11, 2021, Congress enacted the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) which provides $1.9 trillion dollars in relief funds to address the COVID-19 Pandemic. ARPA includes the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) which deliver funding to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as its counties and municipalities. In addition, ARPA includes the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER), which provides funding to Pennsylvania school districts.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania received an SLFRF allocation of $7,291,328,098. Other ARPA allocations are listed in the tabs below.
