1-2-3 A Healthy Me
123 a Healthy Me began as a collaboration between the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, the Montgomery County Office of Public Health, and Abington-Jefferson Health to create fun, interactive lessons to teach children 3-5 years old how to practice a healthy lifestyle.
123 a Healthy Me has 8 units that focus on physical activity, fruits and vegetables, portions, the importance of water, and Go, Slow, and Whoa foods. This program was intended to be delivered in-person, however, due to COVID-19, it was adapted for virtual learning which allows it to be shared with a wider audience.
Each month, new content will be added to this page which will include a pre-recorded children’s lesson and activity along with a pre-recorded parent video. The parent video will provide fun and easy things to do at home with your kids to reinforce what was learned in their lesson. This program is funded by the PA. Department of Health and Health Services Block Grant.
