Community Programs

We offer a variety of educational programs, special events, and services that are FREE for worksites, schools, senior centers, and Montgomery County residents. Through community outreach, we deliver over 750 programs each year and reach more than 23,000 people annually with our progressive and innovative public health initiatives. 

AVAILABLE SERVICES

  • Safe and Healthy Communities education programs prepared and conducted by our team of health educators
  • Staff to host a display table at your community’s health fair to distribute literature and answer questions (please request 2 weeks in advance of the event)
  • Assistance with health promotion resources and consultation with a health educator upon request

Chronic Disease Education

Chronic Disease Education is also available and these efforts may include health education, health screenings, and media campaigns in the following areas:

  • Diabetes
  • Heart Disease
  • Sun Safety/Skin Cancer
  • Tobacco Control/Lung Cancer
