Recruitment Services

The Commerce Department and the team at PA CareerLink® help employers identify the skills needed for a given job and then leverage the JobGatewaySM system to search through the thousands of job-seekers who have come to the County for assistance in finding employment. As part of the process, we evaluate candidates for basic skills and provide training opportunities for those interested in improving their capacity for job readiness.

How Does it Work?

Every business uses our services in its own way. Some businesses choose to post jobs on JobGatewaySM, receive help with pre-screening applicants, and initiate on-site recruiting. Other businesses use our expertise in identifying training resources, grants, and labor market information.

We can provide a list of qualified, motivated candidates for any position, free of charge. If you are interested, fill out the Business Assistance Form found on our website and we will get back to you to schedule a meeting.
