Montgomery County Summer Internship Program  


The County of Montgomery, Pennsylvania, has an excellent opportunity to join our paid Summer 2021 Internship Program this year. In this program, Interns will get to work on real projects and experience what it is like to work for a large progressive County government. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and government leaders on a wide range of topics covering operations and services in Human Health Services, General Administration and other core service areas.

The County Intern must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to data input, developing internal reports, building spreadsheets and databases and other operating projects.  The individual will work alongside a project team and be expected to attend project meetings and assist with tasks.

We are looking for detail-oriented, technically comfortable individuals to work, learn and grow with us. These positions are located in the main County Offices, Norristown, Pennsylvania. Various hours per week will be required between June and August 2021.  All majors will be considered.

The Human Resources department provides policies, systems and programs that enable the County to attract, retain and reward employees, as well as motivate them to their fullest potential.

The office recruits qualified individuals for fulfilling the functions of county government and assures equal employment opportunities for qualified candidates and current employees.

The office is also responsible for the salary, administration, and employee benefits programs while assisting employees with individual claims.
