Montgomery County is embarking on a new initiative aimed at improving connections between local farmers and small-scale food producers and the local consumer market.
The goal is to provide farmers and food producers with the resources they need to better connect with the local market while improving residents’ access to a diverse array of the freshest locally produced foods possible. The Montgomery County Planning Commission (MCPC) is partnering on this initiative with the Montgomery County Health Department, Penn State Extension, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC), and the Montgomery County Farm Bureau. Take the Survey!
We're inviting everyone to participate in this initiative by letting us know if local foods play a role in your life. Please take a few minutes to complete our survey. Even if the farmers’ market isn’t the first place you head every Saturday morning, your survey information is important. Thank you.
