6th Annual Upper Perkiomen Bird & Wildlife Festival
Bring the entire family and join us for a day of fun and learning at Green Lane Park. Once again, this event will include live animal presentations, monarch butterfly tagging, kids games and activities, free hayrides, live music, food and merchandise vendors, free drinking water, Annual Eco-Raffle and much more!  Over 20 exhibitors and vendors will be on hand to help visitors better appreciate our community, its people and our rich wildlife heritage. Don’t miss this unique community event.  
All ages; free. 

Saturday, October 8th at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm (two rides)

Fall Hayride
Ride along as we take a leisurely hayride around Deep Creek Lake. We’ll look for wildlife and sing some songs along the way! Pre-registration is required and each ride is limited to 20 riders. Please sign up for only one ride. Meet at the Tennis Courts. 
All ages; free.

Flight of the Falcon
Cheri Heimbach of Baywing Falconry returns with her live birds of prey flight demonstration. Cheri has a unique ability to connect with her audience using live birds of prey as teaching assistants. Great photo opportunities can also be had. You will not want to miss this special program! Meet near park amphitheater. (2298 Green Lane Road, Green Lane, PA 18054)

Leave it to Beaver
Join us as we enter the world of these amazing aquatic mammals. After a brief (20 minute) indoor session, we will be out in search of live beavers and evidence of their unique tree cutting and home building activities.  Participants on last 3 outings saw live beavers. Uneven terrain, sturdy footwear recommended.  Meet at stone picnic pavilion, Deep Creek area of Green Lane Park. (2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane PA, 18054) Pre-registration required.

Saturday, October 22nd at 10:00 am
Fall Foliage Ramble
Join us for a leisurely stroll to enjoy and learn about fall foliage along the Blue Trail. This should be peak time for fall colors in the park. Along the way, we’ll learn about how and why leaves change color, and just enjoy the sights and sounds of an autumn morning. Terrain can be rocky and in some places muddy, please wear appropriate footwear. Program will meet at Hill Road Day Use Area (2821 Hill Road, Green Lane, PA 18054).
