Montco 2040: A Shared Vision, which was adopted by the Montgomery County Commissioners on January 15, 2015, was designed as a living document. It is usable, implementable, and measurable. The next step for this important comprehensive plan is implementation. The county has prepared a 2016 implementation update that incorporates proposed actions by county departments and partners. Through this process, Montco 2040: A Shared Vision will remain a vital guiding document for the future of the county and its built environment.
